Dr. Travis Bailey Now Seeing Patients in Grand Island

Nebraska Spine + Pain Center is expanding its Grand Island team with the addition of Dr. Travis Bailey. Dr. Bailey will begin seeing patients at the Grand Island satellite office at 620 N. Custer Ave. starting March 2024. Patients in need of specialized back, neck, spine and nerve-related care are encouraged to schedule an appointment by calling 402-496-0404.

A board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained spine specialist, Dr. Bailey specializes in treatment for degenerative spinal conditions as well as spinal deformities, including adult thoracolumbar deformity and cervical deformity. His expertise includes minimally invasive neck and low-back procedures for herniated discs and spinal cord compression.

Nebraska Spine + Pain Center holds clinics on Thursdays at its Grand Island satellite office at Grand Island Chiropractic. Three of the practice’s board-certified orthopedic surgeons and fellowship-trained spine experts offer consultation and care for area residents experiencing pain or limitation due to injury or disease of the back, neck, spine or nerves. Their provider schedule is as follows:

  • Dr. Bailey: First Thursday every month.
  • Dr. Michael Longley: Third Thursday every month.
  • Dr. J. Brian Gill: Fourth Thursday every month.

Dr. Bailey earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at The University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Dr. Bailey then received additional training in orthopedic spine surgery through a fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta before returning to Omaha to join Nebraska Spine + Pain Center.
