Board-certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship-trained in spine surgery, Dr. Adam Schell provides surgical and nonsurgical care for common and complex spine disorders. Dr. Schell is dedicated to delivering care that has a lasting, positive effect on his patients’ lives, and he has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Baltimore magazine.

Dr. Schell offers customized, comprehensive care to relieve your pain and improve your function for a range of spinal conditions. His expertise utilizes the latest, evidence-based approaches, allowing him to specialize in treating:

A graduate of Boston University in Massachusetts, Dr. Schell later went to Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his internship and orthopedic residency at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Schell then returned to Emory University School of Medicine to complete his fellowship training in spine surgery.

An advocate for whole-body wellness, Dr. Schell spends his free time pursuing fitness and hiking. He also loves travel, comedy, music, and listening to podcasts.
